  • Provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization's sales function in the region. Provide leadership for all functional departments within the region with a primary focus on achieving revenue and market penetration across the designated regions to ensure that SS&C Blue Prism is driving digital transformation at scale across industries while continuing to instill discipline, process and methodology into a company's sales and field operations organizations.

  • The VP Sales is accountable for the sales performance of the region, the profitable achievement of sales organization goals, and for aligning sales objectives with company business strategy.

  • Create and drive the strategy to enable regional growth and alignment

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the SVP Sales & GM to develop the regional strategy and end-to-end plan in order to efficiently develop, launch and grow new revenue streams whilst growing and expanding regional presence

  • Lead and manage complex cross-functional efforts to drive enterprise sale of our digital workforce at scale.

  • Engage and optimize overall sales motions and organization to align “routes to market” (sales, partner, corporate sales, prospecting, and cloud implementations) to maximize “routes to revenue”. 

  • Advocate for Company customers by quickly resolving escalations, representing the voice of the customer and influencing internal stakeholders at all levels as needed to deliver customer value and outcomes

  • Establishes and oversees the adoption of the success regional vision, goals and objectives at all levels

  • Lead on and where necessary works closely with the SVP Sales & GM to define sales model for customer engagement in the region including new-logos, and upsells

  • Drives necessary changes for the improvement of operating and organizational efficiency of the team and regional expansion

  • Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles and sales resource deployment.

  • Unleash the potential of the individuals on your teams by understanding their individual motivations and fostering their career development to ensure they achieve their highest potential within SS&C Blue Prism

  • Building upon the existing teams to continue fostering the global SS&C Blue Prism culture – professionalism, integrity and teamwork are critical to remain ‘trusted partners' internally as well as externally

  • Leading, managing, and mentoring teams to target the right segment of prospects, grow quality pipeline, win profitable deals and manage sales activities with the objective of creating mutually beneficial, trust-based relationships that create value.  Sell enterprise digital workforce at scale.

  • Complete weekly and monthly reporting activities as required in order to drive effective business

  • Represent at SS&C Blue Prism events in the Region including but not limited to presentations, panel discussions, training and delivery, and ancillary events

  • Work closely with cross functionally to ensure their resources are fully engaged and utilized in support of driving revenue and generating pipeline

Dimensions of the Role

  • Extensive technical acumen and experience leading sales organizations leveraging clients and selling multiple products across different platform and consistently meeting or overachieving revenue targets.

  • Previous experience in a strategic role of a similar size in Southern Europe.

  • Exceptional track record for building major account relationships from the top down. Experience selling across different industry sectors or verticals.

  • A passion and proven ability to implement world-class sales processes, productivity improvements, and training programs throughout the region.

  • With a demonstrated track record of progressive leadership responsibilities and expertise working with cross-functions teams to create and drive the business strategy and execution. 

  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with all levels of our internal organization and partners through effective communication and relationship building.

  • High level of enterprise knowledge with experience in driving value selling and leading customer engagements.

  • Excellent analytical skills with an expertise in SFDC and the ability to view the larger picture

  • A reputation for strategic capabilities, discipline and integrity are paramount.

Competencies

  • Extensive sales leadership and corporate experience within the South Europe region.

  • Will have fulfilled a role of sales for a company going through high growth and/or transformation, or has been involved in leading transformation

  • Preference to have worked in the software industry

  • Will have worked in RPA and IA technologies, either directly or indirectly

  • Will have experience working in sales development and strategy

  • Experience in leading a regional or global sales team.

  • Deep experience in running complex solution software sales and/or service vendors
