The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable VT Healthcare Service Supervisor to join a dynamic team within the Health Access Eligibility and Enrollment Unit (HAEEU). Healthcare Services Supervisor (HAEEU)
· You will supervise a call center team that handles eligibility and enrollment for Vermont Health Connect and Green Mountain Care.
· You'll be a go-to resource for staff on eligibility rules, policies, case research, and internal procedures.
· You'll handle escalated customer calls and callbacks to make sure issues are resolved or clearly on the path to resolution, and that customers are satisfied.
Responsibilities
· Lead and support a team that processes applications for health coverage.
· Answer staff questions about rules, policies, and processes, and how to use our systems.
· Review phone recordings and observe work to improve quality.
· Collect and analyze data on productivity and accuracy for individuals and the team.
· Coach, train, and mentor staff for continuous improvement.
· Conduct performance supervision and evaluations.
Tools and Systems
· OnBase, VHC Portal, WEX, ACCESS, Siebel, MNT, and KMS.
· You should be comfortable working with databases and healthcare processing systems.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS: Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position. Environmental FactorsDuties are performed primarily in a standard office setting. Some travel may be necessary, for which private transportation must be available. Stressful interactions with upset or emotional customers (over the phone) will occur. Staff workload may frequently be heavy. Work outside of typical business hours may be expected.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree AND three (3) or more years of experience in case management in human services or a closely related field INCLUDING one (1) or more years of supervisory experience in human services or a closely related field.
OR
Associate's degree AND four (4) or more years of experience in case management in human services or a closely related field INCLUDING two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in human services or a closely related field.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent AND five (5) or more years of experience in case management in human services or a closely related field INCLUDING three (3) or more years of supervisory experience in human services or a closely related field.
