Description
The SPA (Stifel Pledged Asset) Servicing Associate is responsible for interacting with customers to provide general information in response to inquiries about products and services.
What We're Looking For
- Responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving conflicts, and communicating effectively.
- Accurately post payments, process manual billings, and accrual adjustments accordingly.
- Answering customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Maintain quality customer service by accurately and promptly processing loan payments, disbursements, and payoffs.
- Images daily activity for retention.
- Performs maintenance on clients' loans as required by documentation received.
What You'll Bring
- Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively during inter-departmental and external interactions.
- Strong knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Required: 0-2 years of customer service experience.
Licenses & Credentials
- Minimum Required: None.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
