*8 WEEK CONTRACT* Position / Specialty: Cardiac Tele Shift: 3x12 Nights (1) Ratios: Days- 1:5, Nights- 1:6 Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend Certs REQ: BCLS required. ACLS preferred. Is on-call REQ? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float within service line and to other Endeavor Health facilities as needed. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Pending License accepted: Yes. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel (call off) 1 shift per calendar month without paying for the cancelled hours. The cancelled shift must be the regular shift length to which the Candidate is assigned (i.e. Client cannot break down the shift cancellation into smaller increments). If Client cancels more shifts than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts cancelled in excess of this section. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called off shift. Special Requirements: MS & Tele experience required. Telemetry - remote monitoring & Use of Rapid Response Teams experience required. Required experience/skills: IV insulin protocols, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral Suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Trachesotomy Management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Epic experience required. Previous charge experience preferred. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level 2 trauma center Total Staffed Beds: 312 Scrub Color: Royal Blue Charting: Epic Parking Cost: If driving, please park in the parking garage which is just south of the Galter Medical Pavilion, on California Avenue. Discounted parking passes can be purchased from the Cashier on the 1st Floor of GMP. The parking cost is $4.5/day.
