Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Senior Capture Manager to lead capture efforts and participate in overall growth efforts. As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Growth Team to include BD, Proposals, and Operations to build capture plans to position and win new business.


Responsibilities

  • Identify related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion)
  • Identify customer-wide parameters and constraints that impact the solution
  • Help BD develop Account Plans and corresponding pipelines
  • Recommend teaming partners and relationships for each capture opportunity
  • Work with BD and Talent Acquisition to find key personnel and resumes during the pre-solicitation and post-solicitation phases
  • Collaborate internally with the growth team and externally with our teammates to develop and submit a winning proposal
  • Identify probable competition and support the SWOT analysis
  • Author and review technical content as necessary to fill gaps in the proposal team
  • Technical solution Planning, Design and leadership
  • Research the client organization and meets with key client representatives in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's needs
  • Work with solution leaders to determine appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of combined relevant experience to include any/all of the following roles-Capture Manager, Proposal, Business Development.
  • Expert at research and analysis
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the Defense market
  • Bachelor's or higher degree (STEM field preferred, but not required)
  • Must have experience calling on Defense agencies
  • Experience as a Program/Project Manager is desired
  • Clearance (Secret minimum) is preferred
  • Experience developing BOEs, LOEs, Staffing Plans, and writing proposals is desired
  • Experience with some of the following customers: Space Command or Space Force, Air Force, Navy, Army, SOCOM, DoD HQs and agencies (4th Estate), or the IC is preferred
