Your Role:

• Water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure design that includes permitting, hydraulic design, storm drain systems, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems 

• Site planning and transportation facility design that includes permitting, highway, street, recreation paths, grading, and erosion control 

• Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses 

• Support preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents 

• Support preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates 

• Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects 

• Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues and interface with other engineering disciplines 

• Resolve questions, plan, coordinate, and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective and compliant manner 

• Perform other related duties as assigned  

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering; MS preferred
• 0-5 years of experience with increasing responsibility in the municipal engineering sector

• Licensed EIT or ability and interest to obtain EIT and/or be in active pursuit of registration

   

• Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D  

• Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Project 

   

  Be highly motivated and a high-performance team member

• Knowledge of data collection and tabulation in preparation of scientific documents.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to format and produce reports as well as the ability to maintain file management.
• Attention to detail
• The successful candidate will work as a problem solver, will have an interest and ability to work in a collaborative manner, and will have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
• Must be able to manage time well and work on tasks as part of a larger project team.

• Candidate should be self-motivated and able to take directions.

 Salary Range:  $75,000 - $88,000, depending on experience
