Tetra Tech is adding a skilled and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team and help shape and execute our digital presence across key growth markets, including Power and Energy. Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist develops and executes digital marketing strategies that align with business objectives. This role partners closely with senior technical leaders and business stakeholders to translate complex technical solutions into compelling digital content that supports growth across multiple markets.

  

Essential Job Functions:

Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Translate business strategy into an integrated digital marketing plan.
  • Develop and manage an annual content calendar including website updates, social media, campaigns, and events.
  • Coordinate content development with multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and alignment with corporate standards.

 

Website & Digital Content Management

  • Write, edit, optimize, and refresh website content for clarity, accuracy, and SEO best practices.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert technical information into engaging digital content.
  • Ensure content reflects sustainability, environmental compliance, renewable energy, and technical consulting expertise.

 

Content Creation & Thought Leadership

  • Produce high-quality digital content including case studies, project highlights, blogs, newsletters, and service pages.
  • Develop multimedia content for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across platforms.

 

Social Media & Engagement

  • Support social media strategy and content execution highlighting energy, environmental services, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Create executive social content aligned with broader campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into content strategy.

 

Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Support digital campaigns targeting utilities, municipalities, power developers, environmental managers, and engineers.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis within consulting and energy markets.
  • Support email marketing, webinars, and event-related digital initiatives.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Environmental Studies, Energy Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–8 years of experience in digital marketing, website content management, or social media management.
  • Experience in environmental, engineering, sustainability, or technical services sectors strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, social media tools, webinar platforms, and email marketing systems (e.g., HubSpot, LinkedIn, MailChimp).
  • Strong understanding of SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently and collaboratively.
  • Creative, detail-oriented mindset.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with clean energy, power, and environmental markets.
  • Background in technical consulting or engineering-related industries.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer workstation.
  • Ability to view digital content for extended durations.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, events, or conferences as required.

Compensation:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay Range: $60,000 – $120,000 annually

  

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
