The opportunity

  • Full-time ongoing role based in Australia (in office, hybrid or remote)
  • Lead organisation-wide transformation and deliver complex initiatives that drive innovation and growth
  • Oversee a high-performing PMO and champion change across people, processes and systems
  • Develop a go-to-market strategy for a revenue-generating offering within the Strategy and Transformation team

 

Key responsibilities

  • Strategy Execution & PMO Leadership: Establish a robust project management framework to execute strategic priorities, monitor project performance, and align resources with business goals.
  • Change and Risk Management: Design and lead change initiatives, manage organisational risk, and ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Inspire, mentor and manage a cross-functional team, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between project teams and senior leadership, ensuring strong alignment, communication, and engagement.
  • Business Development: Identify new sector opportunities and support a strategy for a revenue-generating service offering within the team. opportunities to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

 

Selection criteria

  • Degree in Business, Management, or related field; Master's degree (MBA) preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2); Change Management (e.g., Prosci) and Agile certification desirable
  • 5–7 years' experience leading complex transformation programs and managing a PMO
  • Strong experience delivering cross-functional initiatives and implementing technology solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk, influence stakeholders, and lead change at scale
  • Strategic, results-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
