Summary:
Are you ready to get consulting experience? Tetra Tech is actively seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern for employment in the Houston, Texas office. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced engineers to assist in preliminary engineering design & calculations, design & drafting of engineering projects, research, and report document drafting.
Your Role:
- Perform preliminary civil/structural engineering calculations under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Use AutoCAD to draft engineering designs.
- Perform research on topics relevant to a wide array of projects.
- Draft engineering reports and project summaries.
- Collaborate with internal team to optimize project performance.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidate should have completed a minimum of two years towards a degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
- Candidate should have experience with AutoCAD Software or similar.
- Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- A Pre-employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
