Summary:
We are seeking a GIS Technician to support our Houston office. Candidate must be highly motivated and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications is a requirement.
Your Role:
- Publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services using ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Produces a variety of mapping products for presentations, reports, and other documents.
- Maintain fluency in GIS software, professional practices, and techniques.
- Perform in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Perform data conversion from multiple formats (CAD, PDF, TIFF, Excel) into GIS data.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the latest versions of ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel required.
- Understanding of GPS technology and data.
- Organizational and Prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications Skills
- Willingness and interest in exploring solving spatial problems using python scripts, models, etc.
- Minimum Education Required.
- High School Diploma
- A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
