The Position
We are seeking a skilled and motivated BMS Engineer to join our Melbourne team. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with clients and delivering high-quality digital building services. The successful candidate will be responsible for project leadership, system design, and coordination across multiple disciplines, ensuring NDY is recognised as a leader in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients to position NDY as a leader in digital building services
- Identify project scope gaps and pursue growth opportunities
- Provide input for job costing, time plans, and fee preparation
- Meet project deadlines and budget
- Assist with collection of unpaid fees and assist in marketing efforts
- Participate in group meetings to discuss client issues and potential marketing strategies
- assist in project leadership and ensure coordination across disciplines including AV, Communications, Security, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Hydraulics, and more
- Review shop drawings, and adhere to quality standards
- Implement and maintain NDY's IMS System and identify process improvements
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience across the full BMS project lifecycle
- Strong 3rd party systems integration experience
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail, good market knowledge, and a self-starting attitude
- Understanding of Australian Standards, NCC, and project delivery methods
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to change
- Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback
