Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is adding a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer – Regional/Office Department Lead to our Electrical Discipline team based in Austin, TX.

As a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer, you will lead and shape the electrical discipline within the office, ensuring technical excellence and fostering a culture of innovation. Your leadership will guide and mentor engineers, drive project success, and enhance the impact of our engineering solutions in sectors such as healthcare, education, and commercial buildings. Your Role:
• Provide strategic leadership for the electrical discipline within the office.
• Mentor and develop department staff, fostering career growth through personalized development plans.
• Ensure high-quality work and adherence to firm QA/QC protocols.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
• Oversee, plan, and design electrical systems for projects in healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
• Act as the Engineer of Record and lead technical communication with clients.
• Support regional leadership by organizing discipline meetings and contributing to regional initiatives.
• Manage regional workload using the Labor Forecast Tool to optimize team utilization.
• Oversee recruitment and retention efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline of engineering talent.
• Implement and refine Glumac's technical standards to uphold engineering excellence.
• Track training opportunities and recommend staff development initiatives.
• Provide technical support for any claims or challenges within the region.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience as an MEP Engineer in infrastructure and/or building systems.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
• Experience managing staff as a direct supervisor.
• Strong background in sustainable design is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in REVIT is required.
• LEED AP BD+C accreditation is a plus.
• WELL certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $145,000 - $200,000
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, actual role and responsibilities. The range listed is just one component of Glumac's total compensation package for employees.
