Summary:
Candidate should possess and be able to apply comprehensive knowledge of Project Management with an emphasis in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering. Projects will include Environmental and Civil components and will be completed in accordance with appropriate state and federal regulations. Candidate will provide Project Management and support for project tasks involving site investigation, engineering design, permitting, and support aspects of development projects.
Your Role:
- Perform project tasks for public and private sector clients.
- Participate in functions involving contact with client representative.
- Work/coordinate with project team personnel.
- Act as a seller/doer: Bringing in new clients and projects and making sure projects are completed.
- Perform technical functions on projects and possibly direct the technical efforts of more junior project team members on engineering and construction projects.
- Assists with project management duties.
- Prepare feasibility and engineering reports, permit applications, construction specifications, engineering cost estimates, and direct the preparation of construction drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, subcontract specifications, and work plans.
- Participate in technical and business development presentations with clients.
- Other duties may be assigned as determined appropriate by the supervisor based on level of experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or Master's Degree (M.S.) in Civil/Environmental Engineering or a related area.
- 10-15 years' experience in environmental and engineer design.
- Ability to write detailed reports, business correspondence, and procedures suitable for client submittal.
- Ability to effectively present information, communicate, and respond to questions from groups of coworkers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Applicant should be fluent in the English language with effective communication skills, both orally and in written form.
- Ability to work with basic engineering and mathematical concepts and principles.
- Ability to apply engineering and mathematical concepts to practical situations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required; knowledge of computer-based engineering design software desirable; and experience with completing State and Federal permitting, desirable.
- Must be able to work effectively with other professionals.
- Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- A Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
