Summary: This position provides design and drafting services for mechanical and structural systems for industrial sector projects. Experience with AutoCAD software is required.
Your Role:
- Operate CAD workstation, plotters, printers, and other associated equipment to support the preparation of designs for industrial sector projects in water, wastewater, process control and material handling.
- Support preparation of mechanical/piping and structural drawings that includes equipment, steel and concrete foundation and building drawings, plumbing and process piping and HVAC drawings.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Drafting/CADD or certificate from college or technical school is desirable.
- Candidate must have 5 or more years of experience with AutoCAD for developing project drawings.
- Must be able to prepare plans, profiles, and detail drawings using AutoCAD.
- Must have experience working in a consulting environment.
- Must have Excel knowledge for preparation of equipment schedules.
- Must be an independent thinker and be able to assume design assignments with minimal training.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
