Summary:

This position serves as the Subsurface Advisor - Americas for projects involving hydrocarbon, helium, geothermal, CCUS and geological hydrogen exploration and development; and assist in project/tasks management, technical quality management, and client/business development. Must be highly motivated, client focused, and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Excellent written and verbal communication, client interaction and organizational skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office applications required. Opportunity for remote work.

Your Role:

  • Coordinate technical proposals for new workflows and revenue streams.
  • Responsible for generating new sales and marketing content.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring for senior, intermediate and junior geophysicists.
  • Identify and pursue leads for geoscience consulting services.
  • Develop a strategic plan for continued growth and expansion of client offerings.
  • The position may require extensive travel.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in geophysics or geology.
  • 20 years of experience conducting and managing exploration and developments projects globally.
  • 15+ years in the consulting industry.
  • Experience with coaching junior staff and developing senior staff.
  • Experience in business development to enhance and expand subsurface business group.
  • Experience in creating proposals and client agreements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must hold a valid Canadian passport or permanent residency.

Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship (a copy of a valid work permit may be required).
