With a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse outpatient population, we seek a full-time, academically-oriented, clinically adept Pulmonologist to provide a full scope of direct outpatient medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination. You'll also consult with referring physicians and report findings based on education, experience, and evidence-based medicine.
In addition, you'll strategize in developing clinical programs and patient care models; assist with teaching, evaluation, supervision and mentoring of residents/fellows; perform peer reviews; and serve as a role model to patients, students, families, and colleagues. Must have a dedication to excellence in clinical service, be forward-thinking and demonstrate problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO who is BC in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Intensive Care Medicine
- Licensed to practice in NYS with 2-3 years related work experience
- Credentialed or eligible to be credentialed in the Medicaid Program in New York
- An intensivist who has completed a residency and board certification in a specialty such as surgery, internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, or pediatrics
- Fellowship and certification in critical care medicine; BCLS
- Strong familiarity with competency-based curriculum for residency training
