Jefferson Health New Jersey is currently seeking applications for a full-time, employed general Cardiologist to join our community physician group, Jefferson Medical Group. This is an opportunity to become part of a newly established and rapidly growing general cardiology practice, currently consisting of 2 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider. Jefferson Health recently launched the New Jersey branch of the Cardiology service line in Sewell, New Jersey, with a second location slated to open in Voorhees, New Jersey.
The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills to practice outpatient and inpatient general and consultative cardiology. A strong interest in echocardiography, with at least COCATS level 2 training and NBE board eligibility or certification, is required.
Responsibilities include: outpatient general and consultative cardiology office practice; on-call coverage; and participation in the echocardiography laboratory and stress testing. Future responsibilities to also include: patient care on the cardiac consultative and inpatient services.
The candidate will join a growing multidisciplinary community medical group of over 325 physicians and advanced practice providers across the southern New Jersey region.
Qualifications:Applicants must have an MD/DO degree, as well as be board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases. Advanced training in echocardiography/imaging is required. The successful candidate must possess a license or be eligible to practice medicine in New Jersey by the time the appointment starts.
