Schedule: Full time, days.
Main Function:
- The Director of Talent Recruitment and Engagement is responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract, hire, and retain top talent, essentially overseeing both the recruitment process and initiatives to keep existing employees engaged and satisfied within the organization.
- This oversite includes talent acquisition strategy, onboarding and engagement, leadership development, and learning management with dashboard/metrics for these functions.
Required Job Specific Competencies:
- Strategy creation and execution.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance and healthcare recruiting trends.
- Exceptional skill in leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR analytics, and workforce planning tools.
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Requires independent action, use of judgment, decision making, creativity, innovation, resourcefulness & planning.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an organization, as well as in a partnering relationship with the management team; successful track record of working in a partnering relationship with a variety of personalities and styles at all organizational levels within an established yet evolving culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership, Strategic Planning (20%):
- Focus on aligning talent acquisition with retention efforts to ensure a stable and high-performing workforce.
- Partner with HR leaders and department leaders to promote our high quality work environment.
- Project management strategies and prioritization, with a process optimization orientation.
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand and forecast needs and initiatives.
- Manage and present data, create dashboards in support of talent success.
Recruitment (40%):
- Oversee sourcing, hiring and talent acquisition processes, lead the team of recruiters.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence and develop clear objectives for talent acquisition.
- Hands-on Recruiting: Actively source, screen, and interview candidates for key roles, particularly hard-to-fill positions as needed.
- Manage the hiring process workflows, including compliance.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to strengthen Thompson Health branding efforts.
- Prepare and review the annual recruitment budget.
- Leverage ATS reporting to capture most relevant metrics to track recruiting/hiring progress.
- Optimize UKG capabilities, ATS reporting, and automation for more efficient hiring.
Retention (40%):
- Implement strategies to keep current associates engaged and motivated and reduce turnover.
- Manage culture and climate surveys, exit surveys, and other employee engagement surveys.
- Create and guide training initiatives and education policies.
Supervisory Responsibility/Supervisory Received:
- Works under the direction of the VP Associate Services/Wellness
- Daily supervision of the Recruiting and Engagement teams
Contact with Others:
- Has direct interaction with all Associates, Volunteers, Students, Physicians, Vendors and community members.
- Contacts may require diplomacy and skills of persuasion.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, retention or HR leadership required.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR or PHR) preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable, but leveraging knowledge of other industries in this setting is valuable.
Salary Range: $90,000.00 -$110,000.00
Starting Salary: Based on Experience
