POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for securing and growing transient corporate business in line with the hotel's luxury positioning. This role focuses on revenue growth, client relationship management, and strategic sales execution, while upholding high service standards and brand values.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Drive corporate transient revenue by targeting high-value accounts and negotiating rate agreements.
Identify and pursue new corporate accounts through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
Collaborate with accounting/finance and marketing teams to create targeted promotions and packages for business travelers.
Maximize revenue through upselling, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
Manage Request for Proposals (RFPs) and business travel programs.
Conduct regular account reviews and business performance evaluations with key clients.
Prepare and deliver business reviews and performance updates to leadership.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, legal requirements, and contractual obligations in all corporate agreements.
Coordinate site inspections and client visits to showcase the property's amenities and services.
Champion guest satisfaction and service excellence at all touchpoints, including following up with guests after their stay.
Communicate effectively and build trust with clients, partners, and colleagues.
Represent the hotel at industry events and support strategic partnerships.
Work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to execute the annual sales plan.
Maintain accurate forecasts, reporting, and account data.
Stay current with travel industry trends, technology, and innovations that impact corporate travel.
Align departmental goals with hotel strategy and brand standards.
Embrace change with agility and support team performance and accountability.
Cultivate a positive work culture grounded in professionalism, integrity, and respect.
Manage daily tasks with urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred
A minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales or corporate travel.
Deep knowledge of the Houston corporate travel market.
Proven sales and negotiation ability.
Goal-driven, strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and GDS tools (e.g., Delphi, Agency360).
Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in managing consortia and global travel programs preferred.
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
Hotel Granduca operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Scheduling may vary based on operational needs, including shifts, start times, and total hours worked per week.
