- Patient Ratio: 1:1 w/ 2nd stage labor and C/S circulating and post-anesthesia stage 1, 1:3-4 in triage (agency not usually assigned in triage but may be asked to assist with charge RN), Early labor 1:2-3, Active labor 1:2.
- 2-3 years of experience required.
- First time travelers are not accepted.
- Travel pairs are not accepted.
- Every other weekend required; Must work Labor Day and 1 winter holiday.
- May float to Mother/Baby.
- No block scheduling.
- Locals accepted.
- Job Requirements
- NJ RN license required upon start.
- Special Requirements: Antepartum care (Use of EFM, assist with sterile speculum exam, NSTS, and OCTs); External fetal monitoring, use of IUPC, and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
- Strong exp with IVs (No PICC lines).
- Managing and administering antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and pain medications.
- Circulate for c-section required, scrub for c-section highly pref.
- Neonatal Care in Delivery Room.
- Schedule Information
- Every other weekend required; Must work Labor Day and 1 winter holiday.
- No block scheduling.

- Charting System: AllScripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM); GE Centricity Fetal Surveillance and Documentation system.
