The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at Melrose Wakefield Hospital is seeking full or part-time Gastroenterologists to join our expanding 6 physician community practice in Melrose and Stoneham, Massachusetts. We are expanding our GI team as well as our specialty care focus. We are recruiting gastroenterologists in general gastroenterology, functional bowel disorders, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, medical pancreatology, hepatology, esophageal diseases, and GI cancers.

Melrose Wakefield hospital is a community hospital located 12 miles north of Boston. The practice is affiliated with Tufts Medical Center in Boston, a premier academic institution. You will be fully supported in your chosen clinical endeavors. You will join an efficient and capable staff including medical secretaries, medical assistants, registered nurses and advanced practice clinicians.

  • Provide general or subspecialty gastroenterology-based care in a busy community setting
  • Perform scopes within our 5-room hospital-based endoscopy suites

  • Grow as a gastroenterologist through access to outstanding academic and clinical mentorship

  • Provide both outpatient and inpatient care

Who you are:

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Passionate and interested in quality patient care and building a busy clinical practice
  • Able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license
