Tufts Medical Center, the principal teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, is seeking a board-certified full time Transplant Nephrologist at the level of Assistant/Associate Professor to join our expanding multi-disciplinary dynamic transplant program.

Tufts Medical Center has a comprehensive transplant program which offers kidney, recently launched liver transplant program and heart transplantation services- largest in New England. Our multidisciplinary team of transplant specialists, surgeons, nephrologists and support staff work collaboratively to provide personalized care to each patient. Position Overview:

We are seeking a board-certified or board eligible Transplant Nephrologist to join our transplant nephrology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the evaluation, management, and follow-up care of kidney transplant recipients and candidates. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight and execution of medical aspects of pre- and post-transplantation care of kidney transplant candidates/recipients and living donors, both inpatient and outpatient.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary transplant team meetings and conferences
  • Participating in QAPI projects and clinical protocol development
  • Engaging in clinical research and scholarly activities
  • Interfacing with our HLA Lab
  • Passionate about teaching fellows, residents and medical students
