Director of Environmental Services
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop strategies for cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control in the hospital.
- Manage daily operations, including staffing and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with regulations like OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe environment.
- Implement quality assurance programs for improvement.
- Lead and train environmental services staff.
- Maintain relationships with vendors for supplies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Prepare reports for hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in committees for infection control and safety.
Qualifications:
- Four years college degree is required.
- Three to five (3-5) years of hospital experience in which administrative, supervisory, and teaching ability have been successfully demonstrated.
