Position Summary: 

The Occupational Therapist 3 provides a full range of occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The incumbent acts as a clinical resource, though maintenance of a specialty certification and participation in clinical research in the field of expertise.

Salary Range: 

 

Hourly Rate  Minimum   $60.56             Midpoint       $70.25            Maximum     $79.93

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

If assigned to work with infants and children aged 0 to 21, CCS paneling/approval will be required within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement

Demonstrated skills to communicate effectively with the appropriate Medical Therapy Units (MTU) as required.

Occupational Therapy License from the Board of California

Minimum of 10  years clinical experience as a licensed occupational therapist

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Demonstrated clinical research in the field of expertise, with a minimum of one publication every two years in a peer reviewed journal or board certified clinical specialist: Certified Hand Therapist , Board Certification in Gerontology, Board Certified in Mental Health, Board Certification in Pediatrics, Board Certification in Physical Rehabilitation, Certified Wound Specialist, Certified Neonatal Therapist

Current BLS certification
