Position Summary:
The UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute is reimagining healthcare, complementing conventional treatments with integrative services that are informed by science and incorporated into the training of future health professionals to advance a model of team-based, whole-person care that helps patients achieve their best heath.
Under supervision of Executive Chef and or Cook, Food Service Worker will assist with the preparation and serving of food, proper food handling, proper knife and equipment handling, proper sanitation, set-up of line in orderly fashion, customer service and cleaning of equipment including pots and pans.

$18.90 - $24.44 (Hourly Rate) Expected Pay Range within the Full Salary Range $18.90 - $24.44 (Hourly Rate)
Required:
Knowledge of food preparation. Knowledge of safe food handling guidelines. Operating equipment correctly, stocking ability. Cleaning and sanitizing. Skill to communicate clearly to a variety of people. Must speak, read and write in English.
Preferred:
Speak, read, and write in Spanish.
Special Conditions Required:
Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and special events.
