Certification Details
• ONS Certification required for chemotherapy, oncology, and infusion RNs
• ACLS - Preferred for specialties as per job description or unit description
• BLS - Required for all candidates except specific positions
• PALS - Preferred for specialties per job description
• NRP - Required for NICU RNs and Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RNs
• Additional certifications may be required depending on the unit and specialty

Job Details
• Clinical review and auto offer
• The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU)
• The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4
• Days
• Can offer 36 or 48 hours
• 9/3 or 9/16 start
• 13 weeks
• Every other weekend, every other holiday
• Can approve 40 hours max for time off
• ONS required
• Can submit with second half of cert pending
• BLS, ACLS preferred not required
• Must adhere to UVAs float policy
• Can submit with VA license pending
• Must have Epic experience

Schedule Information
