University of Louisville Physicians is currently seeking BE/BC family medicine or internal medicine/peds physicians to join our Urgent Care Plus practices in Louisville. KY. The location for this position 5129 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine; board certification or eligibility in family or internal medicine/peds and eligibility for licensure in Kentucky are required. Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine/pediatrics or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Possess knowledge to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities. This includes symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.
- Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Should have knowledge of EMR system. Familiarity with EPIC preferred; however, onsite EMR training will be provided
- Have excellent judgment and discretion, the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Be a team player with a "can do" attitude that can work in a fast-paced, customer-service driven environment
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
- Shifts are 12 hour and require evenings, 8am to 8pm.
- 3 shifts a week (156 shifts a year)
- There is a weekend rotation requirement.
