Overview of The Callier Center The mission of the Callier Center for Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas is to transform the lives of those with communication disorders by providing leading-edge clinical services, conducting meaningful and innovative basic and applied research into new treatments and technologies and to train the next generation of caring clinical providers. As one of the nation's preeminent centers of treatment, training and research in audiology, speech-language pathology and communication disorders, the Callier Center has been dedicated to helping children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders connect with the world around them since 1963.
