Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in the management of a robust quality assurance program for operational processes within Loan Operations, including enhancing and maintaining the sampling methodologies for testing within the department.
- Continuously analyze programs against internal procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of various functions.
- Conduct regular audits and review of loan files to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Conduct sample reviews of functions managed in loan operation including new loans boarded, loan modification/extension, payments/advance/paydown, rate changes, and maintenance completed on IBS, vendor management reports, and annual high-risk reviews.
- Work with the Audit Department, share findings and redirect quality assurance efforts as needed to address audit findings, implement quality assurance measures and improve overall loan processing efficiency.
- Develop checklists to ensure all appropriate forms and documents are updated when changes are made to policies and procedures.
- Analyze trends in QA reporting to support training to employees to enhance performance and increase the effectiveness of within Loan Operations.
- Analyze loan data to identify trends, issues and areas of improvement.
- Track status of remedial efforts and assess adequacy of resolution.
- Draft proposed enhancements to written procedures pursuant to QA findings.
- Remain current on industry rules, regulations, and best practices to ensure the testing program and processes comply with these regulations.
