Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm), 1 weekend call a month.
Location: Arlington
Compensation: Competitive base salary plus generous bonus incentives.
Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical activities of the Neurology service line at all levels, has experience in general neurology
- Participate in Stroke call in equal frequency and location as other faculty in the department. Provide approximately 6 weeks of inpatient General Neurology/Stroke coverage per year
- Develop and maintain an outpatient neurological practice
- Contribute to clinical, research, services and education to the teaching hospital
- Be an active member of the medical community
- Possess excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Communicate with all levels of the hospital/organization
- Perform other duties as determined by the Chair in support of the Department of Neurology
Minimum Requirements
- MD or DO
- Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
- Successful completion of residency program in Neurology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Training and familiarity in the use of EPIC (EMR) preferred

- Accredited Stroke Center with a Full-Service Neurology Team
- Medical Director specializing in Neurointerventional procedures
- Full-Time Inpatient Neurologist
- Full-Time Neurologist specializing in migraine and headache
- 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) splitting time between office and inpatient care
