Description

This position is a Med/Surg position, working 7p-7a, working 12-hour shifts, and weekend requirement is for every third weekend.  Holiday and weekend hours are also 12-hour shifts. This position is 72 hours per pay period.  The applicant will be cross-trained to other departments within the facility so they are able to float to the units.    

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS Certification required
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred
• Critical care experience preferred

Skill and Ability:

• Interpersonal and analytical skills necessary to function under the current standards of nursing practices
• Physically able to perform the functions of the position
• ACLS certification required within 6 months to one year of hire
• PALS certification required within one-two years of hire
• Maintains all required qualifications for area assigned
• Cardiac Arrhythmia Interpretation course required within one year of hire
• Experience with management of ventilators preferred
• All other duties as assigned
