Job Summary

The Program Manager – Onsite Services is responsible for oversight of select clinic

operations, implementation of new sites in coordination with the client, WorkCare Onsite Leadership and the WorkCare Implementation and Training Manager. Supervising staff and supervisors at assigned onsite clinics and supporting WorkCare business development. In rare situations there may be a need to fill in for onsite clinic staff.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversight / Management of assigned onsite clinics:
    • Manage onsite clinic staff in accordance with WorkCare's philosophy, policies, and practices.
      • Review and audit clinical documentation
      • Meet regularly with assigned staff
    • Provide performance management feedback in real-time, periodically and annually
    • Review and develop clinic Policy and Procedures in collaboration with onsite clinic operations and Medical Director
    • Work with WorkCare's Medical Director assigned to client/site on any clinical issues that require escalation
    • Support/coordinate follow-up activities related to proprietary 24/7 Incident Intervention cases from after-hours
    • In accordance with coverage provisions within client agreement/contract, actively work with WorkCare HR department to find temporary coverage for absent clinical staff.
  • Client Management of assigned onsite clinics
    • Manage client relationship with site level corporate contacts
    • Provide regular reporting to clients and coordinate client account management activities in collaboration with strategic accounts
      • Provides reports in accordance with client requirements
    • Attend and participate in regular onsite operations meetings
    • Work with billing to ensure invoicing to client is accurate and timely
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME):
    • Support other Onsite Program Managers acting as subject matter expert and resource to assist in the management of staff and client
    • Provide guidance to help manage escalations/issues, making informed decisions and guiding projects
  • Onsite clinic fill-in as needed:
    • To the extent possible, perform same or similar duties of absent clinical staff and within applicable state licensure guidelines
    • Provide additional occupational health duties as assigned
  • Assisting with onsite implementation(s) and training of assigned onsite clinics as directed by WorkCare Onsite Leadership. This may include:
    • Implementing new onsite clinic site(s) in accordance with WorkCare's philosophy, policies, and practices
    • Work with WorkCare HR department to recruit and hire required staff
      • Ensure staff have proper and current credentialing
      • Ensure employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs
      • Train for and establish an environment of Continuous Quality Improvement
      • Ensure proper equipment is in place at onsite clinic
      • Manage vendor partner relationships and accounts if applicable
  • Support business development for on-site locations:
    • Assist in developing new sales opportunities by attending local, regional and national conferences and identifies new prospects
    • Utilizes marketing campaigns, leads, referrals, industry events and proactive research to prospect new clients
    • Identify new business opportunity venues and provide recommendations 
    • Devises innovative ways to generate sales leads and retain/increase revenue
  • Performs other additional duties and assumes additional responsibilities as identified by supervisor for the efficient operation of WorkCare


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or other appropriate clinical specialty (NP, PA)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with valid RN, NP, PA license
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Certification in CAOHC preferred
  • DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing certified preferred
  • Experience working in an infection control program as it related to: Prevention of exposure to infectious diseases; reduction in the transmission of infectious agents; and evaluation of infection control programs preferred
  • Experience in account management, onsite experience preferred
  • Experience managing staff remotely
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating of policies and procedures relative to infection control

Computer Skills

  • Must be competent in the Windows operating system environment, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and learn other software as needed.

 

Physical Demands

  • Requires sitting for long periods of time, working at a desk.
  • Some bending and stretching could be required.
  • Working under stress and use of computer/phone required.
  • Manual dexterity required for use of computer keyboard.
  • Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
  • May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to travel to client locations.

 

This position is open to candidates across the US.

This position has a salary range of $105,000 - $125,000 annually.  Final compensation offered to the final candidate within this range depends on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
