Entry-Level NPI Materials Coordinator (Logistics Specialist)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Pay rate: 28/HR
Position Summary: Join our fast-paced manufacturing team as an Entry-Level NPI Materials Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, materials tracking, and new product introduction (NPI) processes. You will provide vital administrative and coordination support to the NPI Materials Manager and the broader Supply Chain team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the NPI Materials Manager; maintain material status documentation and track action items.
  • Update and manage material trackers, build readiness reports, and supplier delivery logs.
  • Assist with purchase orders, supplier acknowledgments, shipment dates, and receipts; escalate issues as needed.
  • Expedite open items by following up with suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Prepare materials and data for NPI meetings (e.g., CTS reviews, build readiness checkpoints, weekly syncs).
  • Track shipments, delivery confirmations, and documentation (packing lists, pre-alerts, PODs).
  • Assist with Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Order (ECO) updates.
  • Document meeting notes, action items, and follow-ups for timely execution.
  • Learn and support basic ERP/MRP system tasks related to NPI material execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications (Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs).
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or co-op experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing.
  • Exposure to hardware, electronics, or NPI environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus, but not required.
