Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the Oneida Nation's financial assets, including cash, investments, and debt. The individual will work closely with senior management, the Chief Financial Officer, and the Oneida Nation Treasurer to ensure effective cash management, debt management, risk management, and investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the financial activities related to cash management, investments, and liquidity management.
* Monitor cash flow. Analyze cash flow patterns to ensure adequate liquidity and optimize investment/return opportunities.
* Manage investments. Develop investment strategies and policies to maximize return and minimize risk.
* Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to help the Treasurer and the Chief Financial Officer to make informed decisions.
* Evaluate risk exposure. Identify and assess risks associated with investments, liquidity, and market fluctuations.
* Monitor market trends. Stay informed about economic and market trends that may impact investment decisions and strategies.
* Work collaboratively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to develop, communicate, and monitor financial strategies and objectives.
* Ensure compliance with Oneida Nation, local, and federal laws and regulations.
* Stay up to date on industry trends and change to regulation related to cash management, risk management, and investment management.
* Provide financial reporting. Prepare and present financial reports to leadership.
* Demonstrate effective customer/client relationship management with financial institutions.
* Manage all cash handling, banking, and debt service request for proposals.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by conducting research, attending seminars/webinars, educational workshops, classes, and conferences.

A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or a 2 step TB Skin Test is required within thirty (30) days of employment.
